Civil Construction Engineering Manager

Functional Summary:

Oversee and manage civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Lead a team of engineers and contractors, coordinating project activities from planning to completion. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills required. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and relevant experience essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct/manage, and coordinate overall integration of civil engineering construction projects.
  • Assess project feasibility and identify environmental or other project risks.
  • Detect plan errors, propose improvements, and conduct value engineering for cost-effective solutions to problems on civil construction projects.
  • Check plans, calculations, and cost estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformity to engineering standards/practices.
  • Consult/negotiate with clients on project specifications and confer with management and other departments.
  • Present data, maps, or other engineering-related information to management and clients.
  • Requires at least 4 years prior work experience (48 months) in civil engineering, construction project management or closely-related field.
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
