We’re currently seeking a skilled Welder with strong experience in repairing and fabricating components for heavy equipment, particularly excavators and dozers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication on construction equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, and more
Repair cracked or broken parts, such as buckets, blades, frames, and undercarriage components
Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedure specifications, and repair orders
Conduct inspections to assess welding damage and determine appropriate repair methods
Maintain safety and quality standards in accordance with company and industry regulations
Operate grinders, cutting torches, MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment
Collaborate with mechanics and technicians on field repairs and equipment rebuilds
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience welding on heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, etc.)
Certification in welding (CWB, AWS, or equivalent preferred but not required)
Ability to work independently in shop and field settings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Valid driver’s license
Clean 7 year MVR is required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions
GDOT Welding Certificate is strongly preferred but not required
